Chart Label Descriptions New Construction – High efficiency new equipment installed in a newly built home OR in a home or a home addition where there is no previously existing CAC or HP system. Replacement – High-efficiency, new equipment installed as a replacement for existing equipment and not meeting early retirement eligibility requirements. Early Retirement – High-efficiency, new equipment installed as a replacement for existing equipment and meeting the following requirements is eligible for early retirement rebate incentive (Early Retirement is not available for mini-splits):
